In Phase 2, we invited users with diverse accessibility needs to try out the prototypes of the exhibits. Subjective responses were recorded through focus group questioning and their interactions were video-recorded for time stamped analysis. Key analyses included:
• Focus of attention: determine where the user looks (i.e. how they prioritise their gaze)
• Duration (time): how long each element of the exhibit is looked at by a visitor
• Engagement: determine whether the user is actively engaging with an exhibit, whether they passively stands and look or move around the object, touch the screen.
• Test instructions – the instructions are very simple at the moment but are there elements which need further clarification?
